Claims Procedures
Weitnauer clients can file and view claims online. Prior to filing a claim we recommend you review the procedures and documentation instructions which are available for browsing or downloading here.
Starting a New Claim
Clients may start a new claim within 14 days of the date of delivery. Start a new claim - Click here.
Required Documentation

Please is important to note the following documentation in support of your claim should be available as electronic files  prior to comencing the initial claim procedure as these files are required and will need to be uploaded to complete your claim:

FCL SHIPMENTS DOCUMENTS
  • Original or copy of bill(s) of lading covering the entire shipment, including transshipment bill(s) of lading, freight note(s) and/or way-bill(s) when applicable.
  • Original or copy of the invoice(s) covering the entire shipment.
  • Surveyor/adjuster Report.
  • Copy of the written claim against the carrier or other parties with their reply if available.

LCL SHIPMENT DOCUMENTS

  • Original or copy of bill(s) of lading covering the entire shipment.
  • Original or copy of the invoice(s) covering the entire shipment.
  • Agent’s delivery receipt showing the exception notice and conditions the product was received.

Claims will not be not processed if these requirements are not met.
